So pretty. But I have to admit that these photos make me laugh.

The pony party/lesson barn where I hang out also has boarders, and one of them is a young draft. The facility is on a well-traveled street near three schools. The draft usually gets the front turnout by the street.

He likes to lie down on his side and sleep. He relaxes, with his buddy the goat nearby, and sleeps like we all wish we could.

Then, all of the suburbanites driving by see him lying on his side on the ground and they freak out. They grab their cell phones and call the stable to say, "OMG - you have a horse down out front!!!"

OR when he does get up, he's not the most graceful guy on four legs. They see him lurch to his feet, so they grab those cellies and call, "OMG! He's sick."

Laughing

Sometimes I get a bit envious when I see pictures of horses (or any animals) lounging especially after a hard day's work. The horse in the photo are beautiful though and look so relaxed and peaceful.

You have some very pretty and funny horses. I have never heard of lazy horses (because I need them for agriculture propuses). Your farm looks very beautiful, I wish I could move to Kentucky when I see these beautiful pictures about the farms here. Smile
