I need some ideas for new barn flooring that is economical. Our barn has flooded so many times this year and it is getting insane especially with the snow now melting. The barn is earth flooring now. Which is mud and muddy soup. I thought about cementing in the stalls and placing rubber matting in them. Then maybe crushed stone sand for the breezeway? I really don't like the idea of cement but it's like deciding between sore joints or thrush. Ideas? |

We would do 2 things:
1. Divert the water thats coming in (either by trenching, diversion ditch, piping, etc).
2. Use crushed limestone in the aisle way & stalls. (You can then place stall mats on top of that if you want - which is what we did.) _________________

Today, buying a prefab horse barn can prove to be a better alternative to building your own barn for your horses. This is because these prefab horse barns are much cheaper and can be set up much faster than a traditional or ordinary horse barn _________________ Real time chicago Real Estate listings! |
